The TEBD Chamber Academy is an intensive management training programme for middle and senior level executives of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (and Commodity Exchanges) in Turkey and the European Union (EU) Member States, focusing on how to improve general management and enhance the services provided to members. The programme of each Chamber Academy is organised by the TEBD team within Eurochambres in close cooperation with TOBB.
As part of the Turkey-EU Business Dialogue (TEBD) project, two four-day Chamber Academies are being organised in Turkey for executives from Chambers and Commodity Exchanges both in Turkey and in the EU Member States. These Chamber Academies provide the participants with opportunities to:
- Improve their management and strategic planning skills and know-how;
- Learn about how to develop innovative services for their members;
- Network and exchange with their fellow Chamber executives from the EU and Turkey.
The Chamber Academy model has been developed by Eurochambres during more than 15 years. It is designed specifically for Chamber and Commodity Exchange executives, offering a dedicated training on how to improve the management and performance of a Chamber or Commodity Exchange.
Each Chamber Academy offers at least six management courses which are led by the best-qualified experts from the EU Chamber Network, with a strong focus on peer-to-peer learning.
Approximately 40 participants (from the EU and Turkey) are able to take part in each Chamber Academy.
Each participant who has completed a four-day Chamber Academy receives a certificate from Eurochambres and TOBB.
