Turkey-EU Business Dialogue Webinar
Turkey is the EU’s sixth largest trading partner, export market and provider of imports and the EU is by far Turkey’s number one import and export partner, as well as source of investments.
In the scope of the TEBD project, a Virtual Business Dialogue Webinar was organized on the topic “Post Covid-19 Turkey-EU Economic and Trade Relations” that took place on 11 June 2020. There was participation of over 320 people from the EU and the Turkey.
Participants had the opportunity to listen to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs & Director for EU Affairs, Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı; the Head of EU Delegation to Turkey, Ambassador Christian Berger; the President of the Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Mr M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu; and CEO of the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), Mr Arnaldo Abruzzini.
The high-level speakers analyzed and discussed the Economic and Trade Relations between the EU and Turkey, and how it can be further strengthened so as to maximize the benefits for both sides.
