Project Title:

“Mardin Chamber of Commerce and Industry increases its capacity in cooperation with its counterpart, Granada Chamber of Commerce and Industry.”

Overall objective:

Provide mutual knowledge exchange and integration between two business communities through sectoral and institutional cooperation between Granada Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mardin Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Specific objectives:

1. Increase institutional and sectoral capacities of the Mardin Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its members in the tourism sector;

2. Adaptation of institutional and sectoral successful applications of Granada Chamber of Commerce and Industry to Mardin Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Project Title:

“Knowledge is Power.”

Overall objective:

Contribute to strengthen mutual knowledge and understanding between Turkish Chambers and their counterparts in the EU thus promoting the integration of European and Turkish business communities and ensuring a stronger awareness of the opportunities and challenges of Turkey’s future accession to the EU in both Turkey and the EU.

Specific objectives:

1. Support Edirne Commodity Exchange to play an important role in the EU accession process by improving human resource capacity and service quality;

2. Establish a sustainable cooperation between Edirne Commodity Exchange and Yambol Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Project Title:

“Develop SMEs and Clusters by International Networking.”

Overall objective:

Assist Turkish and European SMEs and Clusters in order to develop and further expand their international business by creating networks between counterparts.

Specific objectives:

1. Determine the needs and requirements of SMEs and Clusters in terms of international networking and coordination;

2. Increase the capacity of Chambers, Clusters and SMEs on the international networking, marketing and cooperation;

3. Improve capacity of Turkish Chambers (Eskişehir CI and Sivas CCI) by adding new units for cluster coordination;

4. Raise the awareness of Chamber staff, members and clusters regarding the EU-Turkey Customs Union and its development;

5. Develop social dialogue between partners in line with European social dialogue principles.

Project Title:

“Improving Business Dialogue For Business.”

Overall objectives:

1. Contribute to the development of mutual knowledge and understanding between Turkish Chambers and their counterparts in the EU;

2. Promote the integration of European and Turkish business communities in Turkey’s Future Accession to the EU.

Specific objectives:

1. Improve the capacity of Çerkezköy CCI to better serve its members;

2. Develop the capacities of SMEs in the Çerkezköy region;

3. Strengthen the dialogue between Çerkezköy CCI and Drama CCI as a basis for further cooperation;

4. Foster the participation of Chambers in Turkey’s EU accession process.

Project Title:

“SME Hospital and European Network.”

Overall objective:

Strengthen mutual knowledge and understanding between Turkish Chambers and their counterparts in the EU. Thus, promoting the integration of European and Turkish business communities and ensuring a stronger awareness of the opportunities and challenges of Turkey’s future accession to the EU in both Turkey and the EU.

Specific objectives:

1. Development of Financial skills by Finance Management Training & Mentoring for SMEs;

2. Networking and exchange of best practices between Chambers in Turkey and the EU;

3. Enhance awareness of the opportunities and challenges of Turkey’s accession to the EU in both business communities.

Project Title:

“Strengthening of EU-Turkey Business Bridges through more cooperation and comprehension of the EU.”

Overall objective:

Strengthen Chambers and business communities through establishing mutual cooperation substructure among the chambers and business people.

Specific objectives:

1. Create and improve cooperation through better understanding of EU issues among the business communities in Samsun and in the Czech Republic;

2. Support and advise Turkish businesses on how to access the EU Single Market;

3. Strengthen the capacity of Samsun CCI to better serve its members, particularly regarding the EU acquis and supporting the internationalisation of SMEs.

Project Title:

“Finding Opportunities & Building Bridges in the Automotive Industry between Turkey and the EU.”

Overall objective:

Reinforcing civil society in Turkey, strengthening mutual understanding between Turkish and European Chambers, contributing to the economic development (of Turkey, Poland and Hungary), promoting the integration of European and Turkish business communities, and ensuring a stronger awareness of the opportunities and challenges of Turkey’s future accession to the EU in both Turkey and in the EU.

Specific objectives:

1. Improve the knowledge of entrepreneurs in the automotive industry regarding foreign trade and related issues;

2. Transfer experiences and best practices from the Chambers in Poland and Hungary to the Turkish Chambers;

3. Inform Turkish SMEs about relevant EU policies and issues;

4. Encourage Turkish SMEs to do business in Poland and Hungary.

Project Title:

“Twinning for Digitalization.”

Overall objective:

Contribute to strengthening mutual knowledge and understanding between Turkish Chambers and their counterparts in the EU in order to promote the integration of European and Turkish business communities and also to ensure a stronger awareness of the opportunities and challenges of Turkey’s future accession to the EU, both in Turkey and in the EU.

Specific objectives:

1. Increase the capacity of İstanbul CC in the area of digitalization to provide improved and/or new services to its members;

2. Develop a framework for cooperation between İstanbul CC and Paris - Île-de-France CCI in order to enable networking on digitalization and transfer of best practice from France to Turkey (Les Digiteurs).

Project Title:

“Fostering SMEs’ growth by transfer of expertise between Spanish and Turkish Chambers: SMEs’ Observatory.”

Overall objectives:

1. Improve Chambers’ capacity to provide better services for companies, particularly for SMEs, in order to help them become more competitive in the global market;

2. Create and develop new services for SMEs;

3. Share knowledge and best practices between Chambers.

Specific objectives:

1. Create a new service for Turkish Chambers: development of SME Observatory; in order to exchange knowledge and best practices among Turkish and Spanish Chambers;

2. Enhance knowledge of Chamber staff and business communities in Turkey.

Project Title:

“Business Service Center”

Overall objectives:

1. Enhance the capacity of Konya CC and Aksaray CCI to better serve their respective members;

2. Promote exchange of knowledge and best practices between chambers in Turkey and Germany;

3. Strengthen the cooperation between Turkish and EU Chambers through partnership.

Specific objectives:

1. Launch a Business Service Centre run by Konya CC and Aksaray CCI in order to answer questions, solve problems and provide advice to companies, entrepreneurs and investors;

2. Promote the new Business Service Centre as a “first stop office” in the field of information and consultancy on various subjects related to business life in Konya and Aksaray.

Project Title:

“Increase of Hazelnut Added Value in Giresun by Increasing the Collaboration of the Chambers.”

Overall objective:

Develop a business association with the Turin Chamber of Commerce in order to use the nuts, which are produced in the Giresun region, to create added value in the production of chocolate.

Specific objectives:

1. Develop the institutional capacity of Giresun Commodity Exchange and obtain technical information about chocolate production;

2. Inform the producers in Giresun about the chocolate sector;

3. Promotion of Giresun hazelnuts all over Turkey;

4. Establish cooperation between the Chambers and producers in Turkey (Giresun) and Italy (Turin);

5. Increase the capacities of Giresun Commodity Exchange members in relation to foreign trade and marketing.

Project Title:

“Accreditation Guidance to Kars Commodity Exchange and provision for cheese production variety.”

Overall objective:

Enable the cheese producers in Kars to begin to produce two new cheese varieties that can be produced throughout the year in addition to the regional Kashar cheese, and also to enable the Kars Commodity Exchange to develop its institutional capacity with guidance from Chambers in Greece and Romania.

Specific objectives:

1. Support cooperation and exchange of knowledge between Chambers and cheese producers in Kars (Turkey), Sibiu (Romania) and Serres (Greece);

2. Obtain information on the production of new cheese varieties and share this knowledge with cheese producers in Kars (Turkey);

3. Develop the institutional capacity of the Kars Commodity Exchange to provide improved and/or new services to its members.

Project Title:

“Transfer of best practices through structural dialogue for capacity development in the fields of digitalisation and industry-university collaboration.”

Overall objective:

Support close collaboration and bilateral exchanges between Turkish Chambers and their counterparts in the EU in order to support the integration of European and Turkish business communities and contribute to Turkey’s EU accession process by means of sharing experience and knowledge.

Specific objectives:

1. Increase the capacity of Istanbul Chamber of Industry in the field of digitalisation and industry-university collaboration by promoting know-how, best practices, methodologies and tools from the EU (particularly Italy);

2. Create opportunities for sustainable dialogue and collaboration between Chambers in Turkey and in the EU;

3. Increase awareness and knowledge of Chambers and other business community organisations regarding the significance and benefits of digitalisation and industry-university collaboration.

Project Title:

“Supporting EU-Turkey Trade Integration (SETTI).”

Overall objective:

Contribute to strengthening mutual knowledge and understanding between Turkish and EU Chambers and promoting the integration of European and Turkish business communities.

Specific objectives:

1. Strengthen relations between Chambers in Turkey and Spain, in order to support increased trade between European and Turkish companies;

2. Increase the capacity of Turkish Chambers (Gaziantep - Adıyaman) to develop improved and/or new services for their members;

3. Facilitate networking and exchanges of best practice among the participating Chambers.

Project Title:

“Developing a new service for Turkish Chamber on coaching companies on energy efficiency.”

Overall objective:

Raise regional awareness to contribute to the successful implementation of the National Energy Efficiency Policy of the Turkish Government, and thereby contribute to Turkey’s “National Energy Efficiency Action Plan” which is aligned with the objectives of EU Directive 2012/27/EU.

Specific objective:

Increase the capacity of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry to provide a new service to its members called “Raising Energy Efficiency”.

Project Title:

“Mediterranean Business Dialogue for SME coaching and international trade.”

Overall objective:

Strengthen business dialogue between Chambers in the Aegean Region of Turkey and their counterparts in the EU.

Specific objectives:

1. Strengthen the capacity of Chambers in the Aegean Region to provide coaching and international trade services for SMEs;

2. Increase the capacity of SMEs in the field of commercialization and support economic development in the the Aegean Region;

3. Increase opportunities for networking and exchange of best practices between chambers in Turkey and the EU;

4. Support young and women entrepreneurs in the Aegean Region.

Project Title:

“Intereuropean Concept Innovation Network.”

Overall objective:

Contribute to increasing the capacity of Turkish Chambers so that they can provide improved and /or new services to their members, and also to increasing opportunities fornetworking and exchange of best practices between Chambers in the EU and Turkey.

Specific objectives:

1. Enhance the capacities of the participating Chambers in order to improve and diversify the services that they provide to their members in the fields of innovation management, IPR, design and commercialization;

2. Promote the development of a culture and spirit of innovative entrepreneurship by means of trainings and consultancy services as well as exchanges of knowledge and best practices.

Project Title:

“Increase your opportunities of networking trough Digital Information Management System (DIMS).”

Overall objective:

Strengthen mutual knowledge and understanding between Turkish Chambers and their counterparts in the EU thus promoting the integration of European and Turkish business communities and ensuring a stronger awareness of the opportunities.

Specific objectives:

1. Increase the capacity of Artvin Chamber of Commerce and Industry by establishing a Digital Information Management System (DIMS);

2. Increase opportunities for networking and exchange of best practices by creating cooperation and information exchange between Artvin CCI (Turkey) and Arad CCIA (Romania).

Project Title:

“Strengthening the civil society & business networking of female entrepreneurs and exchange of experience (Euro-FEM).”

Overall objective:

Contribute to the promotion of women’s entrepreneurship and employment empowerment.

Specific objectives:

1. Bring together Chambers, female entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship associations and the educational sector in order to facilitate an exchange of good practices and ideas;

2. Improve the equal representation of Turkish women in the field of entrepreneurship through training and helping them to learn from examples of good practice;

3. Create a Euro-FEM Business Angels Forum;

4. Increase networking and support the participation of local business communities in the framework of Turkey-EU dialogue.
